Hughes went 4-for-5 in the first game against the Lions with two homers and five RBI, including a walkoff home run to complete the eight run come back. Then in game two, he went 1-for-2 with his lone hit being another home run. He tallied three RBI and two walks. He also pitched 2.1 innings in game one and tallied three strikeouts.
