PENN STATE BEHREND CAPTURES 2025-26 PRESIDENTS CUP TITLE
The Penn State Behrend Lions continued to add three more championship trophies to their trophy case this spring, as they captured conference titles in baseball, softball, and men's tennis. The Behrend Lions maintained their lead for the AMCC Presidents Cup title, taking the overall title for the 2025-26 academic year. Throughout the year, the Lions were champions in 10 sports: women's cross country, men's cross country, women's soccer, women's volleyball, women's tennis, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball and men's tennis. Behrend finished runner up in men's soccer, men's volleyball and wrestling.
Behrend collected 98 points out of a possible 105 total, for a league-high percentage ranking of 0.933.
Alfred State College and Penn State Altoona continued their tight race for second place, with the Pioneers holding on to their slight edge. Alfred State earned an AMCC championship in women's lacrosse, while also having successful seasons in baseball and softball. The Pioneer baseball team earned a runnner-up finish in the AMCC baseball tournament, while the softball team earned the No. 3 seed in the softball championship tournamnent, as ASC finished the year with 53.5 out 84 points for a .637 percentage ranking. The Altoona Lions finished as conference runners-up in both men's tennis and softball, finishing the year with 64 out of 103 possible points for a .621 percentage ranking.
