Pineda (117) earned a first place finish in the 117 bracket at the John Carroll Open. Pineda opened the day with a 49 second fall over Taelor Rae Busch (BC). She followed with a 3:46 fall over Madilyn Enterline (W&J). Then in the first-place match, Pineda secured a decision win over Molly Luebke (MU) to take first place.
Lints (145) improved to 32-1 overall and 19-0 in duals this season after picking up another two wins this past weekend at the Journeymen Duals. Lints was seen recording a fall at 2:45 against her Sacred Heart opponent while tallying her second fall at 1:24. Lints, ranked No. 3 nationally, is also eighth in the NCAA for falls (15 total) as of Jan. 19.
Lints (145), nationally ranked No. 3, was a pivotal wrestler for the Soaring Eagles at the Will Abele Invitational this past weekend. Lints posted a 4-0 record in the 145-weight class to secure a first-place finish overall. Her individual first-place finish helped paved the way for Elmira to secure a fourth place finish out of 18 teams. Lints recorded three falls and one tech fall on the weekend. In her first match, her fall came at 1:29 followed by a fall at 0:29 in her second bout. In her third bout, she recorded a 12-2 tech fall rounded out by a fall at 1:23 in her final match of the day. Lints now sits at a 30-1 overall record and 17-0 dual record.
Lints (145) ranked No. 4 nationally, was a pivotal wrestler for the Soaring Eagles at the NWCA National Duals Championship Meet this past weekend. Lints posted a 5-0 record in all five duals, helping Elmira land a sixth place finish overall. Lints recorded three falls, one decision, and one tech fall on the weekend. Most notable, Lints defeated No. 3 nationally ranked opponent Zoey Haines from Eastern University in an 8-2 decision. As a team, the Soaring Eagles recorded wins against Augustana (24-23), Schreiner (24-24, decided by team falls), and Eastern (25-22).
Doerflinger (110) cruised in the 110-lb weight class at the Terrier Round Robin on Sunday, winning all five of her bouts to place first for that particular weight class. Included in that 5-0 record is three wins by fall and two wins by technical fall.
Robles (160) had a strong weekend at the AMCC Duals Championship after positing an individual record of 5-0. She helped lead the Soaring Eagles to an undefeated, first-place finish and to be crowned AMCC Dual Champions. Robles recorded three falls and one tech fall on the weekend.
