PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Hilbert SR Andrew Johnson led the Hawks to a doubleheader sweep over La Roche on Saturday afternoon. Johnson closed out game one by striking out the side to pickup the save, then followed that performance with a six inning start, allowing only one run on four hits and striking out six to lead the Hawks to a 6-3 Game Two victory. The senior finished the afternoon with nine strikeouts over seven innings (11.59 k/7) while earning a win and a save in the same day.

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg JR Conner Burkey led Greensburg to their first conference win of the season on Saturday evening, as he pitched a seven inning shutout, allowing only three singles against Bradford, while striking out eight Panthers...PS-Altoona SR Jon Rauch tossed a complete game victory in game two of a doubleheader sweep of Waynesburg on the road last Thursday, as he went all seven innings, allowing only three hits, two runs, and one walk while striking out eight Yellow Jacket batters...Alfred State SO Jordan Hughes went 1-0 on the mound as he pitched 5.0 innings scattering three runs over eight hits with three strikeouts, in the Pioneers 20-5 win over Mt. Aloysius...PS-Behrend JR Colin Bolla threw 5.1 innings, allowing two hits and one earned run while fanning five for a 1.69 ERA in the win over Altoona...Mount Aloysius SO Troy Misiura turned in a standout performance on the mound despite the loss, striking out a career-high 12 batters over seven strong innings, he allowed just four hits and two earned runs while walking two batters.
