    Pitts was perfect again for the Mavericks, stopping all six shots on goal he faced last week going 2-0 and extending his clean sheet streak to four matches. 
  • Joshua Devlin, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Soccer - Offensive

    Devlin continued to fill the stat sheet with five goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the first place Mounties. Devlin scored three goals and added two assists in a 6-0 victory over Pitt-Greensburg, and then added two more goals against D'Youville in the AMCC game of the week. He currently ranks second in the conference with 11 goals and is tied for first with seven assists.
  • PITT-BRADFORD HOSTS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY ON OCTOBER 6

    The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Department of Athletics hosted Mental Health Awareness Day at its home volleyball and soccer contests Saturday. Each Panther team wore green t-shirts that read the day's slogan, "#StopTheStigma" during warmups.

    The AMCC men's soccer game of the week features two of the top teams in league standings, as the undefeated Mount Aloysius College Mounties (6-0) take on the Spartans of D'Youville College (4-1-1), who sit in second place behind the Mounties.

    Pitts was lights out in net for the Mavericks last week, saving all three shots he faced for two consecutive clean sheets. The two shutouts came at a great time for the Mavs as they went 2-0 last week to improve to 3-1-1 in AMCC play.
  • Jonathan Fernandez, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Soccer - Offensive

    Fernandez led the Mounties offensively in a 2-0 week as he scored two goals in a victory over Penn State Altoona then contributed two goals and three assists in a win over Hilbert. For the week, Fernandez recorded four goals and three assists for 11 points. 
  • MOUNTIE MEN & WOMEN, PITT-GREENSBURG WOMEN EARN UNITED SOCCER COACHES TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD

    United Soccer Coaches announced the Team Academic Award winners for the 2017-2018 academic year on Thursday and the Mount Aloysius College men's and women's soccer teams, along with the Pitt-Greensburg women's team, earned the award.
  • Kyle Dick, D'Youville College, Men's Soccer - Defensive

    Dick has been a major part of the Spartan's undefeated conference start. Dick made six saves to record his second straight shutout against Pitt.-Bradford on Tuesday. He then followed up with 15 saves in the team's comeback as D'Youville tied La Roche 2-2 in 2OT on Saturday. Dick had a strong performance to earn the team another point. Within conference play, Dick currently leads the AMCC in save percentage (.935), is second in goals against average (0.62), wins (2), and saves (29).

    Devlin scored three goals on the week as the Mounties went 2-0 and took over sole possession of first place in the conference. He scored a goal in a 3-0 victory over La Roche and followed with two goals in a 3-2 victory over Medaille. He is currently in the top five in the conference in both goals scored and assists. 
  • AMCC MEN'S SOCCER GAME OF THE WEEK: MOUNT ALOYSIUS @ MEDAILLE

    The AMCC men's soccer game of the week features two of the top teams in the conference. Mount Aloysius has won eight straight games and are one of two teams with a 2-0 record in league play. Medaille, the 2017 conference champion, has not dropped a game in over two weeks and is off to another strong start in AMCC action. 
  • Josh Hammer, D'Youville College, Men's Soccer - Defensive

    Hammer led the Spartans to a two-game unbeaten streak this week, as he is the team's leader of the back line. On Tuesday against St. John Fisher, Hammer saved the team in the last minute of the game with a header off a corner to tie the game at 1-1 and give the team a tie after double-OT. To add to his goal, Hammer played incredible on defense. On Saturday against Penn State-Altoona, Hammer was a big part of a team defense that allowed just eight shots on goal and shutout the Lions for their first conference win of the season. 
  • Carson Gilarno, Pitt-Greensburg, Men's Soccer - Offensive

    Gilarno tied the school record for goals in a game in the 6-0 victory against Hilbert in the AMCC opener for both teams. Gilarno totaled four goals and added an assist for nine points against the Hawks. The freshman scored the first four goals of the game and tallied a hat-trick in just 37 minutes and and tied the school record with his fourth goal just six minutes into the second half. 
  • AMCC MEN'S SOCCER GAME OF THE WEEK: BEHREND @ LA ROCHE

    The Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team will head to La Roche College on Saturday, September 22 to kick off Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play. Penn State Behrend is off to a solid start in 2018, owning an overall record of 4-2-1, while the Redhawks enter the AMCC Game of the Week at 2-6.
  • MOUNT ALOYSIUS WOMEN, BEHREND MEN REMAIN IN SOCCER REGIONAL RANKINGS

    The Mount Aloysius College women's soccer team remained in the United Soccer Coaches regional rankings as the Mounties moved up one spot to the #8 position in the Great Lakes region, while the Penn State Behrend men's team dropped to the #10 spot .
  • COACH DAY BECOMES LA ROCHE COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER WINNINGEST COACH

    La Roche College men's soccer coach David Day became the Redhawks' all-time leader in wins after his squad defeated a talented Thiel team 2-0 on Friday night. Coach Day picks up win number 86, passing Weston Hawley, who coached at La Roche from 1999-2008. Day's Redhawks also improve to 2-4 on the season.

    Eyre went 3-0 in goal for the Mounties as they extended their winning streak to six games. He allowed just one goal in 252 minutes of action. Currently Eyre is second in the conference in goals against (5) and goals-against average (0.71).

    Devlin contributed two goals and one assist in a 3-0 week for Mount Aloysius, including the game winning goal to break a 1-1 tie in a victory over Alfred State on Sunday. Devlin is tied for the conference lead with three assists and ranks in a tie for second with seven points on the season. 
  • MOUNT ALOYSIUS WOMEN, BEHREND MEN'S SOCCER RANKED NINTH IN GREAT LAKES REGION

    The Mount Aloysius College women's soccer team and the Penn State Behrend men's soccer team each earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region rankings on Tuesday.
  • Ryan Maurer, Penn State Behrend, Men's Soccer - Defensive

    Maurer helped lead a Penn State Behrend defense that posted two shutouts over the weekend, including a shutout victory over No. 24 John Carroll on Friday night. Maurer also stepped up and converted a game-winning penalty kick in the 65th minute to lead the Lions over Hiram College 1-0 Sunday.
  • Lachlan Beever, Medaille College, Men's Soccer - Offensive

    Beever was hot last week, scoring five goals in three games for the Mavericks. He started the week with a goal against SUNYAC opponent Brockport, then followed that up with his first career hat trick Friday night against NCAC foe Hiram College. He rounded out the week by scoring against #13 John Carroll, making it a 1-1 game in the second half.
  • Chris Ralph, Penn State Behrend, Men's Soccer - Defensive

    Ralph posted one shutout over the weekend and helped the Behrend Lions win the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament. Ralph totaled six saves and conceded just one goal in 200:00 minutes for PSB. Penn State Behrend posted a 1-0-1 record this past weekend defeating Houghton 2-1 on Friday and drawing with Geneseo 0-0 in 2OT. Ralph made a diving save in the 107th minute against Geneseo that helped preserve a draw for Behrend.
  • Chase Rider, Pitt-Bradford, Men's Soccer - Offensive

    Rider scored his first two goals of his collegiate career against Muskingum to lead the Panthers to a 3-1 win, their first of the season. Rider leads the conference in scoring, and he was the only player in the conference to earn a multi-goal game.
  • PENN STATE BEHREND TOPS MEN'S SOCCER PRESEASON POLL

    Garnering five first place votes, Penn State Behrend has been selected by AMCC coaches to finish at the top of the men’s soccer standings in 2018. After being crowned conference champions one year ago, Medaille College is expected to finish in second place, while league coaches look to Mount Aloysius College to round out the top three.

    The D'Youville College men's soccer team and Delaware Soccer Club combined to put on a youth soccer camp from Monday, August 13 to Friday, August 17 a variety of kids from the local area.
  • BRANDON BUTTS NAMED HILBERT COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER COACH

    The Hilbert College Athletics Department is pleased to introduce Brandon Butts as the newest men's soccer head coach effective immediately.   Butts is eager to create some stability in the Hawks program, as he becomes the fourth head coach since 2015.
