Carson Gilarno, Pitt-Greensburg, Men's Soccer - Offensive

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg FR Carson Gilarno tied the school record for goals in a game in the 6-0 victory against Hilbert in the AMCC opener for both teams. Gilarno totaled four goals and added an assist for nine points against the Hawks. The freshman scored the first four goals of the game and tallied a hat-trick in just 37 minutes and and tied the school record with his fourth goal just six minutes into the second half. 

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille F Carlos Espana was a key piece to the Mavericks going 2-0 last week, as he scored his first career goal against Thiel College earlier in the week and followed that up with a one goal, one assist effort in the AMCC opening win over Franciscan on Saturday...PS-Behrend F Logan Brinsky broke out offensively for Penn State Behrend against La Roche College with two goals that helped the Behrend Lions to a 5-1 victory over the Redhawks, as he scored his first career goal in the 74th minute and added a second goal in the 88th minute...D'Youville F Hunter Sherman helped the team earn their first conference win, a 3-0 victory over PS-Altoona, as he scored his first goal of the season on a rebound to give the team the lead, and then added an assist on the second goal of the game and finished off with a penalty kick for his second goal of the game...Mount Aloysius M Anton Hoshovsky scored two goals in a 6-0 victory over Pitt Bradford on Saturday, including the game-winning goal early in the game and a bending strike from 20 yards out in the second half...La Roche M Firas Abduljawad scored in the Redhawks AMCC opener on Saturday against PS-Behrend.
