Lutz provided more rock solid defense for the Lions in a 2-1 week of play. In Wednesday night's home 3-1 win over AMCC opponent La Roche, the senior totaled a career-high 34 digs in the victory, and she followed that up with 10 digs in a Senior Night sweep of non-conference opponent Lycoming on Friday. During Saturday's tight 3-2 loss at home to first-place AMCC team Alfred State, Lutz recorded 18 digs. On the week, the senior libero totaled 62 digs for an average of 5.17 digs per set.
Molly Richards had a solid offensive week, as the Mounties went 1-1. She hit .273 in both of their matches, garnering 21 total kills and 22 total digs. Throughout the two matches, Richards averaged 3.50 kills per set, 3.67 digs per set, while adding three service aces and two assists for an average of 4.0 points per set.
