BEHREND, MOUNT ALOYSIUS WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL RECEIVE TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD

The Penn State Behrend and Mount Aloysius College women's volleyball teams have earned the United State Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. 

The Behrend women are receiving this honor for the sixth straight time, and eighth overall, in program history. The Mounties have received the award nine out of the past ten years.

The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale
