Giebner had a shutout against the Medaille Mavericks in Tuesday's must-win game, a 1-0 victory, saving all six shots on goal. The win clinched a playoff berth for the Spartans, giving them the #5 seed in the AMCC Playoffs. On Saturday, D'Youville had a rematch against Medaille in the first round of the AMCC Playoffs, where Giebner came up big as she saved five of six shots she faced, allowing one goal in the Spartans' 2-1 upset of Medaille to advance to the semi-finals of the AMCC Playoffs.
