The Hilbert College (21-6) women's basketball team made program history when they won their first AMCC title on Sunday afternoon by defeating Mount Aloysius College (17-8) 76-52.

Ebert averaged 22.5 points per game in the AMCC conference tournament. She also averaged seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals in the two games. Ebert led the Hawks to a first-ever conference tournament championship and NCAA tournament automatic bid.

Wright had a fantastic week to guide the Mounties to a 1-1 week and their best finish in conference play in school history. Leading her team to the second seed in the tournament, she shot an impressive 19 of 34 from the floor and 9 of 18 from the 3 point line. She finished with a career-high 31 points against Franciscan and added 23 points against top seed Hillbert. For the week, Wright averaged 27.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game.

Hilbert College senior guard Kelsi Ebert established a new standard in the women's basketball program earlier this season.  She shot herself into the #1 spot in the Hawks record book for the third time in her career.

Pitt-Bradford senior guard Ali Rinfrette stepped to the free-throw line like she had so many times before, except this would be much different than any first-quarter free-throw she had shot in her entire career.

Gawlak averaged 15.5 points over a two game span for the Hawks, shooting 40% from 3-point range. The 5'6" guard also averaged 13 rebounds a game, while pulling down a game high 17 rebounds Saturday against Pitt-Greensburg. Gawlak also came up with five steals and added six assists in the two games. The sophomore has helped lead the Hawks to their best season in program history with 18 wins overall and 15 in conference play, while clinching one of the top two spots in league standings.

Rinfrette put together a huge week, averaging a double-double of 27 points and 12.5 rebounds in the team's two games. On Wednesday, the 5'6" guard worked a double-double of 25 points and 11 boards to lead Pitt-Bradford to an 80-69 win over D'Youville College, their fourth-straight win. Her 29 points Saturday at Mount Aloysius College led all scorers and she put together her second-straight double-double with 29 points and 14 rebounds. She also didn't take a single minute off all week, playing all 80 total minutes in the team's two games. On the week, she shot 44.7 from the field and went 6-15 on three-point field goals. She also dished seven assists, grabbed six steals and blocked three shots.

As the calendars turn to February, basketball season always heats up as teams are battling it out for prime playoff seeding. Pitt-Bradford (11-8, 8-5 AMCC) travels to Mount Aloysius College (13-5, 11-2) on Saturday afternoon for the AMCC women's basketball game of the week.  The Mounties, currently in second place in league standings, have won four of their past five. The Panthers, tied for third place with Medaille College, are riding a four game winning streak into Saturday's game.

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team hosted Franciscan University on Saturday, while also supporting the "Teal There's a Cure" campaign.

Reinwald once again had another standout week on the hardwood. She averaged 22.5 points and 18 rebounds in two games, helping Medaille go 1-1. In the win over Penn State Altoona she had one of the best games of her career, going 9-18 from the floor and 17-18 from the free throw line to drop a season best 35 points. Just as impressive, Reinwald snagged 23 rebounds, 11 of which came on the offensive end of the floor. She also added eight steals and three blocks over the two games.

Reinwald had another huge week for the Mavericks, leading the Mavs to a 2-0 week with a 74-63 home win against D'Youville College and then a 65-62 overtime win against Pitt-Greensburg. Reinwald started the week off with a triple-double against the Spartans, going for 16 points, 23 rebounds, 11 steals, five assists and five blocks. Reinwald followed that up with a double-double against UPG, as she finished with 12 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks. For the week, Reinwald averaged 14.0 points, 20.5 rebounds, 5.5 steals, 4.0 blocks, and 3.0 assists. Reinwald currently ranks in the top ten nationally in ten separate statistical categories.

Penn State Altoona sophomore guard Finnley Christine picked up another award on Tuesday for her big performance last week, as the Eastern College Athletic Conference announced that she was chosen as its Division III South Region Player of the Week.

As AMCC basketball teams prepare to play their final game of the first half of the conference schedule, the women's basketball game of the week features two teams looking to climb in the conference standings. La Roche College (7-8, 5-3 AMCC) will be hosting Penn State Behrend (6-9, 4-4 AMCC) Wednesday evening in the Kerr Fitness Center.

Christine had a huge week for the Lady Lions in a pair of AMCC games. In Wednesday night's loss to nearby conference rival Mount Aloysius, Christine led her team with 26 points and 13 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, and she also added four assists and one steal. In Saturday's loss at AMCC foe Penn State Behrend, she put up a career-high 29 points (tying for the third-most points scored in a game by a player in team history) to go along with nine rebounds, a team-high six steals, and one assist. On the week, Christine averaged 27.5 points per game, 11.0 rebounds per game, 3.5 steals per game, and 2.5 assists per game.

Mount Aloysius College (9-3, 7-0 AMCC) enters the game as the only remaining undefeated team in conference play, while Hilbert College (8-5, 6-1 AMCC) is right behind them with just one loss.

Woll averaged 26 points and shot 57.1 percent from the floor to help the Lions go 1-1 last week. Woll scored a career-high 32 points in the win over Pitt-Bradford, while also setting a career-high with 12 field-goals made and tied her best with seven steals. The senior guard also averaged 4.5 rebounds, assists, and steals on the week.
