Matt Cobb, Alfred State College, Men's Lacrosse - Defensive

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alfred St. G Matt Cobb recorded his first career victory in goal as the Pioneers defeated Cazenovia (first ever win vs. the Wildcats). Cobb recorded 22 saves including three in the final five minutes to preserve the one-goal victory.

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert D Grant Stockman was a rock on defense this week and played a huge role from the faceoff X in a near comeback at Greensboro on Saturday. He changed the course of the game as the Hawks were unable to get anything done on draws prior to Stockman jumping in during the second half. He got Hilbert some precious possessions and helped hold the host team to two goals in the final three quarters.
