The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team placed 16th with a team score of 503 at NCAA Regional Championships on Saturday, hosted by Fredonia.

Lindsey Hartle was the top finisher for the Lions with a time of 25:14.8 for 91st place out of 154 runners. Rounding out the top 100 for Behrend was Bethany Litwiler who registered 96th place with a season-best mark of 25:37.9. Freshman Baylee Dernar and Alivia Hetrick were the next runners to cross the finish line. Dernar delivered a 104th-place finish with a time of 26:08.9 and Hetrick recorded a time of 26:41.8 for 113th, respectively.
The Alfred State College women's cross country team had one finish inside the top 100 at NCAA Niagara Regionals. Sophomore Oli Kraynik was the first Pioneer, and AMCC, finisher with a time of 24:57.8 to take 83rd place. Ava Sylvester was next across the line with a time of 26:46.2 for 116th place. Caity Strecker was the final ASC finisher as she took 136th place with a time of 28:24.2.
New York University was victorious with a team score of 32, followed by Geneseo (36) and Rochester (107)
