BEHREND'S SAVANNA CARR FOUR-PEATS AS AMCC RUNNER OF THE YEAR

Penn State Behrend senior Savanna Carr has been named the AMCC Runner of the Year for the fourth time in her career (2017, 2019, & 2020). In addition to winning the AMCC individual championship with a time of 24:06.4, Carr also led the Behrend Lions at their home invitational on October 16, as she crossed the finish line 1:09 behind the leader for eighth place in 23:30.  Carr was also first on the team and 95th out of 319 runners at the NCAA DIII Pre-Meet held on October 1. She crossed the finish line in 23:57.5 for the 6K.

Behrend freshman Lindsey Hartle has earned AMCC Newcomer of the Year honors. Hartle finished in third place at the AMCC Championship meet, the highest-placing newcomer on the day, finishing the race in 26:04.3.
