FRANCISCAN'S GRACE GALLIGAN LEADS BARONS TO WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TITLE
Franciscan University won the the 2018 AMCC women's cross country championship on a cold, rainy day in Steubenville, OH. Baron senior Grace Galligan claimed her second individual title, as she was the first runner to cross the finish line in 22:46.54.
Franciscan was first with 23 points, while Penn State Behrend was next with 37. D'Youville College rounded out the top three with 99 points.
Franciscan freshman Alison Bryant was next to finish the course, crossing in 23:47.81. Mary Jo Schirger and Grace Scrocca came in fifth and sixth places, finishing in 25:33.56 and 25:34.39, respectively.
Leading Behrend was junior Riley Crissman, who finished in third place with a time of 24:04.56, while Jenna Shelton was fourth (24:27.95).
