PITT-GREENSBURG KICKS OFF SEASON AT ST. VINCENT EARLY BIRD INVITATIONAL
The Michael Gentile era at Pitt-Greensburg is officially underway as newly hired head coach led the Pitt-Greensburg cross Ccuntry team Friday afternoon at the St. Vincent Early Bird Invitational.
Both the men's and women's team placed fourth in the race with senior Kelsey Oddis leading the charge in the women's event claiming a top-10 finish (27:24.113) followed by junior Daniel Spanner, who was the first male runner for the Bobcat to cross the finish line (33:57.023).
Colleen Murphy, Julia Prichard, Samuel Myers, and Sadie Shannon all ran personal bests for Pitt-Greensburg. Murphy cross the finish line in 33:13.820, followed by Shannon (37:11.250), Pritchard (41:39.517). Myers was the fourth Bobcat to run a PR on the afternoon and the freshman finished the race in 37:11.683.
