Moran had a great week for the Lions, helping to power her team's offense during a 3-0 week that saw the Lions defeat Wilkes, Chatham, and Bridgewater. In her team's home opener against Wilkes on Tuesday, a 3-1 win, she totaled 35 assists, three service aces, and two kills. In Wednesday night's 3-2 win at Chatham, Kayla finished with 37 assists, five kills, and four aces. On Saturday, in the Lions' 3-2 victory at Bridgewater, she tallied a career-high 53 assists while adding two kills. On the week, Moran recorded 125 assists (8.93 assists per set), nine kills (0.64 kills per set), and seven service aces (0.50 aces per set). Additionally, she contributed defensively by totaling 40 digs on the week (2.86 digs per set) and two block assists (0.14 blocks per set).

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford S Tabitha Walker piled up the assists in another undefeated week for Pitt-Bradford, as she tallied 103 assists (8.58 per set), while also adding five kills, five aces, 28 digs, and two blocks...Alfred State OH Karleigh Haines was on fire on Friday night in a sweep of Penn College, recording 15 kills and a .406 hitting percentage, while also chipping in four digs and a service ace...PS-Behrend OH Keely Hering tallied 3.09 digs and 2.36 kills per set in a 3-0 week for the Lions, as she had double-digit digs in two matches and led with 15 kills in a 3-1 win over Kean, while also adding seven aces, four assists and one block...Medaille S Haley Kennedy had a record weekend for her career, as she recorded 62 assists in the Buffalo State Women's Volleyball Bengals Challenge, while also setting a single game high for herself against Cazenovia with 29 assists, as her impressive game play landed her a spot on the All-Tournament team...Pitt-Greensburg OH Emma Halutick had a strong week on the offensive side of the ball, leading the Bobcats in kills (3.33 kills per set) and was a huge factor in UPG's sweep of Saint Vincent for its first win of the season.
