Perkins was key as the Pioneers opened up the season with three straight victories and a 3-0 start to their season. For the week, she recorded a team high 30 kills, 15 service aces, and 15 digs. Against Wells she recorded eight kills and seven aces; against Cazenovia she picked up 13 kills, three aces, and six digs; and agaist Houghton she earned nine kills, five aces, and five digs.

Alto...Pitt-Bradford OH Emily Cleveland hit a career milestone while putting in strong offensive performances over the weekend at the Bearcat Challenge, hosted by St. Vincent, as she recorded her 1,000th career kill, becoming the sixth Panther to reach the milestone; she also recorded 21 Kills on 53 attempts, hitting at a .302 clip as a Panther comeback attempt fell just short in the 5th...PS-Altoona SO Lacee Barnhart got her season off to a strong start on Saturday in the Gettysburg College Battlefield Classic, combining for a team-high 22 kills and 23.0 points, averaging 3.67 kills per set and 3.8 points per set in matches against Gettysburg and Penn State Berks...Hilbert FR Katie Kociszewski led the Hawks in kills over the weekend with 12 while also adding four aces from the service line...Medaille OH Halle Bogas had a total of 20 kills with a hitting percentage of .115 in the University of Rochester Invitational, as she recorded seven kills against RIT and the University of Rochester, while ealso earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team... Pitt-Greensburg MH Alexis Ray recorded 19 kills, seven digs, and six total blocks in the Bobcats' opening week of play.
