Lutz continued to anchor the Lions' defense in a 4-0 week that consisted of four sweeps and included two AMCC wins. In four matches, the junior totaled 42 digs for an average of 4.20 digs per set. She also contributed six assists, two service aces, and one kill.

Maslowski collected 28 digs in two three-set victories for the Panthers last week. She had 16 in the midweek win over Medaille, and 12 more against Pitt-Greensburg. She also had two assists and three service aces against Pitt-Greensburg.

Joncas had double-digit kills in two of the three matches this week, totaling 32 kills and a .394 attack percentage. She tallied 11 kills vs. Alfred State and 13 in a 3-0 win over Hiram. Joncas also added 10 digs, seven service aces and three blocks. Joncas' play helped lift the Lions over second place Alfred State to put a stronger hold on the top spot in the conference.

The Penn State Behrend women’s volleyball team will host Alfred State College in a showdown of the two undefeated teams remaining in the AMCC on Wednesday night in the Junker Center. The match begins at 7 p.m.

Lutz continued to display solid defense as the Lions' libero last week in a pair of AMCC wins. She finished with 19 digs in her team's 3-0 sweep of La Roche on Wednesday, then added another 19 digs in a 3-1 victory over Pitt-Bradford on Saturday. On the week, Erin totaled 38 digs (5.43 digs per set), and she chipped in three assists and one service ace to her team's offensive efforts.

Ferrer passed out 101 assists in three victories this week for the Pioneers. She averaged 12.33 assists per set. She had 30 assists, four digs, and two aces in a sweep of Medaille. She then passed out 44 assists, recorded three kills, three digs, and three aces in the AMCC sweep of Mt. Aloysius. In the second sweep of the Mounties, she passed out 27 assists, recorded five digs, and had three service aces in two sets.

Clapper tallied double-digit digs in a pair of AMCC wins this week. She averaged 5.83 digs per set, registering 14 in a 3-0 win over Bradford and contributing 21 in a sweep of Altoona on Saturday.

Reiland led the Lions to a pair of key AMCC victories, both in three sets to stay in front of the conference standings. The senior had a pair of double-doubles, including 13 kills and a career-high 24 digs against Altoona on Saturday. Reiland had a match-high 13 kills and 11 digs at Bradford on Wednesday in the AMCC Match of the Week. She also added nine blocks and hit .500, committing just one error.

Perkins played solid all-around matches in a pair of sweeps of Pitt Greensburg. She had 14 digs in the conference victory and averaged 3.80 digs per set in her five sets played on Saturday. She also added 12 kills and five service aces.

Barnhart helped pace the Lions' offense in a 2-0 week. In Friday night's sweep of non-conference opponent Elmira, the outside totaled 10 kills on a .409 hitting percentage. In Saturday afternoon's sweep of AMCC opponent Medaille, she finished with seven kills and one service ace. On the week, Lacee totaled 19.0 points (3.8 points per set), 17 kills (3.40 kills per set), a .293 attack percentage, and one ace (0.20 aces per set). She also contributed 12 digs (2.40 digs per set) and one solo block (0.20 blocks per set).

Clapper had double-digit digs in all three matches this week to help the Lions go 3-0. She tallied 16 digs in a 3-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg in AMCC action and then led with 19 digs against Oberlin. She also added nine assists, four aces and three kills.

Reiland hit .518 for the week, only committing two errors in three wins for the Lions. She registered a team-high 15 kills on 32 attempts (.406) in a 3-1 decision against Oberlin on Saturday. For the week, she recorded 31 kills, 12 blocks, 10 digs and four aces.

Clapper averaged 5.73 digs in three wins for the Lions last week. She posted a season-high 30 digs against Grove City and then followed with 22 in a 3-1 win over Kean. Clapper totaled 63 digs, nine service aces and eight assists in three matches.

Moran had a great week for the Lions, helping to power her team's offense during a 3-0 week that saw the Lions defeat Wilkes, Chatham, and Bridgewater. In her team's home opener against Wilkes on Tuesday, a 3-1 win, she totaled 35 assists, three service aces, and two kills. In Wednesday night's 3-2 win at Chatham, Kayla finished with 37 assists, five kills, and four aces. On Saturday, in the Lions' 3-2 victory at Bridgewater, she tallied a career-high 53 assists while adding two kills. On the week, Moran recorded 125 assists (8.93 assists per set), nine kills (0.64 kills per set), and seven service aces (0.50 aces per set). Additionally, she contributed defensively by totaling 40 digs on the week (2.86 digs per set) and two block assists (0.14 blocks per set).

Carson stepped into the Pitt-Bradford line-up after an injury and became a huge part of the Panthers' 5-0 week. She totaled 89 digs in the five matches, including 52 on the final day of the Buttermaker Challenge against Gallaudet and Neumann. She also tallied 11 service aces over a three game stretch.

Cleveland led the Panthers to a 5-0 record this week, including a tournament title at the Buttermaker Classic at Muhlenberg. Cleveland totaled 83 kills in the 5 games, hitting at a .331 clip. On the first day of the tournament, Cleveland was especially lethal, putting down 36 kills on just 49 swings while committing only two errors. Cleveland also added four service aces, 25 digs and seven total blocks on her way to being named to the all-tournament team.

Mary Good Lawrence earned All-Conference honors each of her four years on the women’s volleyball team at Penn State Behrend, including AMCC Newcomer of the Year in 1997.

Zollars registered 47 digs (4.70 average), six assists and five aces in a 4-0 weekend for the Lions. She tallied 20 digs in a 3-0 win over Thiel in the season opener. Zollars posted double-digit digs in three of the four matches to start the season. She also helped the Lions to go undefeated at the Alfred Saxon Classic and not give up a set in all four matches this week.

Perkins was key as the Pioneers opened up the season with three straight victories and a 3-0 start to their season. For the week, she recorded a team high 30 kills, 15 service aces, and 15 digs. Against Wells she recorded eight kills and seven aces; against Cazenovia she picked up 13 kills, three aces, and six digs; and agaist Houghton she earned nine kills, five aces, and five digs.

The United State Marine Corps (USMC) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced today that 1,275 collegiate and high school teams have earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2020-2021 season.
