Wittig played a big role in the Spartans earning their second win of the season this weekend. Against Pitt.-Bradford and Medaille, Wittig earned a point in every match she was apart of, winning in her singles and doubles matches both days. Playing in the top doubles spot, she earned the 8-1 victory over Medaille and the 8-0 victory over Pitt-Bradford. In No. 2 singles, she once again picked up wins over Medaille (6-1, 6-2) and Pitt-Bradford (6-0, 6-0). Wittig's wins were crucial in the Spartan's in the 5-4 victory over Pitt-Bradford.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius SR Leah Stoehr had another perfect week as the Mounties won two conference match-ups, as she was able to comeback from a one set deficit on Friday in winning both the second set and tiebreaker in dramatic fashion, she followed that up on Saturday when her doubles pairing shut out their opponents and she won her singles match losing only one game...Franciscan JR Madelyn Conrad improved to 3-0 in conference play with two dominating wins against AMCC teams, she has won 19-straight AMCC doubles matches and 13-straight AMCC singles matches dating back to the 2016-17 season...PS-Altoona FR Jessica Stevens improved to 5-0 overall in singles and 3-2 overall in doubles, as she had a 6-0, 6-3 win in No. 1 singles in a tight 5-4 loss to St. Vincent on Saturday, she then won 6-0, 6-0 in No 1 singles and 8-0 in No. 1 doubles against Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday...Medaille FR Hallie Dworzanski was critical in the Mavs' win over AMCC rival D'Youville College, as she was the only Maverick to come out victorious in both singles and doubles, helping Medaille edge the Spartans 5-4...La Roche SR Miranda Lasher helped the Redhawks defeat Pitt-Greensburg with victories at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles.
