Camryn Watters, Penn State Behrend, Women's Swimming

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend FR Camryn Watters won three events in the win over Pitt-Bradford on Saturday. She won the 50 free (26.35) before leading a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 backstroke (2:15.99), while swimming on the winning 400 medley relay. 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State SO Emma Merrick notched two wins on the day to help lead the Pioneers over Penn State Altoona, as her first win came in the 200 IM, where she broke away from the pack to touch the wall in 2:19.35. Then in the 100 breast, the Pioneers finished 1, 2 ,3, with Merrick leading the way. She pulled away from her teammates to finish in 1:11.29...Pitt-Bradford SO Isabella Cercone won two events and took third in another in the Panthers' loss to Penn State-Behrend this week, as she easily won both the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke races. She swam the 100 in 1:12.98, outpacing her nearest competitor by seven seconds. She was even more dominant in the 200, where she won by more than 10 seconds with a time of 2:41.62 seconds. Cercone also swam in the 50-yard freestyle sprint, taking third place with a time of 26.85 seconds...PS-Altoona JR McKenna Holl won the 100 Yard Backstroke in Saturday's home meet against AMCC opponent Alfred State, recording a time of 1:05.09. She also helped her team to a second-place finish in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, as the group combined for a time of 4:02.25. McKenna earned more points by finishing third in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 26.70.
