Payton Armstrong, Alfred State, Women's Swimming

Armstrong was a triple event winner to pace the women's team to a victory over Penn St. Altoona. She won the 50 back (34.73), the 50 fly (30.92), and the 100 back (1:11.18). She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay in 2:06.46.

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State FR Payton Armstrong was a triple event winner to pace the women's team to a victory over Penn St. Altoona. She won the 50 back (34.73), the 50 fly (30.92), and the 100 back (1:11.18). She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay in 2:06.46.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona FR Danielle Bye recorded three individual first place finishes for the Lady Lions, including the 100 Yard Butterfly (1:04.94), the 100 Yard Freestyle (1:00.73), and the 200 Yard I.M (2:27.38)...Pitt-Bradford SO Kayla Broad finished the 50-freestyle with a time of 27.42 and also finished second in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:12.20, and was also part of the 200-freestyle relay team that finished 2:04.32.
