Lowery was named the AMCC Swimmer of the Year, helping the Lions finish runner up at the championships. She was a part of eight records, setting four individual and winning two individual events at the AMCC meet. Lowery broke two records leading off the winning 800 free relay and then the relay broke four more. She won the 200 IM and 400 IM, while swimming on three winning relays.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona FR Danielle Bye was named the AMCC Women's Swimming Newcomer of the Year after being the top point-getter among first-year women's swimmers in the AMCC Championships this week. Danielle set two new team records during the week in two different individual swims, clocking in at 2:18.92 to place second in the 'A' final of the 200 Yard I.M. while finishing the 100 Yard Butterfly 'A' final in 1:00.69 for second place in that event. She also tied for third place in the 100 Yard Freestyle 'A' final with a time of 56.26....Pitt-Bradford JR Jillian Wright's performance in the AMCC Championships was highlighted by her performance in the 100-breaststroke. Wright earned a piece of Pitt-Bradford history as she captured fourth place in the 100-breaststroke with a school-record breaking time of 1:14.91, while also finishing third in the 200-breaststroke at 2:42.10...Franciscan SR Elizabeth McNulty defended her gold medal in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:21.49, clinched first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:38.85, which is a new school record for Franciscan University of Steubenville, and secured third for the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.14...Alfred State FR Kathryn Lewis was part of five NCAA-era records. She was second in the 500 free in 5:28.22, second in the 1650 free in 19:26.82, and fourth in the 200 free in 2:03.26. She was also part of the second place 400 free relay team (3:50.12) and the third place 800 free relay team (8:29.72).
