Cabrini College never relinquished the lead it took from Day One at the AMCC championship, finishing the day Saturday with 243 points and its first ever conference title.
Cabrini College never relinquished the lead it took from Day One at the AMCC championship, finishing the day Saturday with 243 total points and its first ever conference title.
The Cavaliers were led by freshman Christina
Melchiorre who won three individual events. She
shared high point honors with two other freshmen--Elizabeth
Prager of Pitt-Bradford and Mia
Pietropola of Penn St. Behrend.
Franciscan University claimed the runner up position, recording 174
points. Penn St. Behrend's seven year reign at the top of the
standings ended with a third place finish (140). Penn St.
Altoona wrapped the day in the fourth spot with 119 points and
Pitt-Bradford rounded out the field in fifth place and 103
points.
