OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg D Tiffany Michalek was tremendous in the first week of the season for the Bobcats. She netted a goal in each of the three games, including two in the season opener against Thiel. The senior dished out two assists, one in each of the first two matches of the year. She had 10 points this past week with five at Thiel, three at Hood, and two at Wilson. Michalek was accurate all week, as she fired eight shots with seven being on goal, including five with four on goal in the Thiel match.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend F Trinity Prestash has scored a goal in each of the three games to start the season for a team-leading seven points, netting the eventual game-winning goal and dishing out an assist vs Baldwin Wallace in the opening round of the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament before talliying another goal vs. Wooster on Sunday to be named the MVP and help the Lions capture the HLM Title...Alfred State F Megan Fisher scored both goals in the Pioneers' 2-1 victory over St. Vincent on Saturday, as her first goal tied it up and her second proved to be the game-winner...La Roche F Alexandra Mecchia shined in her collegiate debut to elevate LRU to a 3-1 season opening victory against Geneva College, as she tallied two goals and an assist (5 points) in a dominating performance...Mount Aloysius F Johnna Adams played a big part in the first weekend of the season for the Mounties, as she attempted the lone shot for Mount Aloysius in their loss to #13 Dickinson on Saturday and then following that up by assisting on both of the goals scored by the Mounties in their 2-0 win over Lycoming...Medaille M Yulisa Tosado-Munoz was one of two players who were able to get a shot off against Franciscan, recording one shot on goal.
