AMCC WOMEN'S SOCCER GAME OF THE WEEK: CARLOW @ ALFRED STATE

The Celtics (3-7-1, 2-1 AMCC) are coming off a 3-1 nonconference loss to Bryant & Stratton Syracuse Monday. Carlow is led by senior forward Jenna McGuinness who has six goals and two assists on the season. McGuinness earned AMCC and USCAA Player of the Week honors Oct. 1 after leading Carlow to a 2-0 week with four goals and an assist, including two goals in Carlow's 4-2 AMCC opener win over Hilbert on Sept. 28. Elizabeth Knight and Lyndsey Szekely have split time in net throughout the season. Knight ranks second in the conference with 58 saves so far this season, and Szekely is ranked third with a .756 save percentage and fifth with 11 goals allowed. Of Carlow’s 18 goals scored so far this season, the Celtics tallied 10 in the past four games.

The Alfred State Pioneers will be looking to bounce back after Wednesday's tough loss at Hilbert. Karlee Hargather leads the Pioneers in goals, assists, and points. She has 13 points so far this year, coming from five goals and three assists. Madison Kice and Allison Lundmark also netted three goals each. Kate Sproul has tallied 46 saves so far this season. This game will also mark the Pios Senior Day as they celebrate their five seniors.
