The Pitt-Greensburg and Penn State Behrend women's soccer teams have squared off in the AMCC championship game for the past three seasons, and will face each other this Saturday in the AMCC Women's Soccer Game of the Week.

The Lions are on a two-game winning streak, outscoring opponents 15-0 in the last two contests. Behrend scored a season-high 10 goals in the win over Wells on Tuesday. The win also marked the third shutout of the season for the Lions. Newcomers Marlene Andrade and Rori Kostos are tied for the team lead in goals with four. Kostos tallied a hat trick against the Express. 

The Pitt-Greensburg women’s soccer team comes into this weekend’s matchup with PS Behrend looking to get back on track after a tough non-conference schedule. The Bobcats currently have three of the top five scorers in the conference with sophomore Maya Wertelet leading the team with five goals, four of which coming against Pitt-Bradford in AMCC Play. Junior keeper Paige John leads the conference in goals against average (1.14), as well as save percentage (.862). She is also second in goals against, as she has given up just four goals this season.

The Bobcats took both meetings last season, including a double-overtime win in the AMCC Championship.
