The AMCC women's soccer game of the week is a showdown between two teams with identical 5-0-1 conference marks and sit atop of AMCC standings.
The Mount Aloysius women remain undefeated overall at 11-0-2 and are ranked 10th in the Great Lakes region in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll. They are led by senior attacker Cheyenne Kuncher, who has scored nine goals on the year and was named AMCC Offensive Player of the week twice this season. Their stout defense led by Summer Schell and freshman goalkeeper Lauren Davey has allowed a league low 10 goals on the season.
The D’Youville women’s soccer team rides a four-game winning streak and a six-game unbeaten streak into Saturday’s game against Mount Aloysius. D’Youville has been led by their defense as all five of their conference victories this season have been via shutout. Senior goalkeeper Megan Dulniak has been one of the top goalkeepers in the conference statistically as she is only one of two goalkeepers to play and start six games. She is first in shutouts (5), minutes played (560), saves (49), and wins (5). She is second in goals allowed (1) and goals allowed average (0.16) only to a player that has two games played in goal. On offense, Makenna Magee and Brittany Cristofanelli have been the top offensive players for the women. Magee has scored in four of the last five games while Cristofanelli is tied for second on the team in goals and second in points.
