CHLOE FRITCH, MOUNT ALOYSIUS COLLEGE, WOMEN'S GOLF
Fritch made an immediate impact for the Mount Aloysius women's golf team this past weekend, turning in a strong debut across two tournaments. She opened her collegiate career with an 81 at the Thiel Fall Invitational, earning a fifth-place finish out of 46 individuals. Fritch carried that momentum into the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic (Penn State Altoona), where her opening-round 81 put her in second place after day one. She followed with an impressive 78 on day two, leading the way for the Mounties and securing a runner-up finish, finishing just one stroke shy of the individual winner.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona FR Gabby Catalogna was the Lions' top finisher in their season-opening home tournament, the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic, on Sunday, September 7 and Monday, September 8. The freshman shot 96 in day one and 87 in day two, scoring 183 across two rounds to place seventh out of 27 individuals...Carlow SR Maci Lorigan led the Celtics with a 94 in the first round of the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic Sunday.
