Nebel rolled a 17.0 Baker average on the first day of the Red Flash Invitational and aided her team in a 3-2 record putting them in first place after day one. In Saturday's traditional format, Nicole averaged 200 for three games of traditional play which helped MAC Bowling secure the top seed heading into Sundays final rounds. On the final day of competition, Nebel was lead off in March one and later anchored the Mounties in the final match against SFU to a second place finish rolling an individual Baker average of 23.8 for 29 frames, setting a new school record and marking in 27 of 29 frames. For the three-day tournament, Nebel averaged 18.3 in the Baker format, 200 in team match play, and rolled a single-game high of 235.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona SR Nikki Watt had a great weekend for the Lady Lions in the SFU Invitational, helping her team finish in seventh place. In Saturday's traditional matches, she placed 13th individually out of 62 bowlers by dropping a team-high 894 pins and averaging 178.8 per game. Nikki also bowled a pair of 200-plus games that day, totaling 206 against Mount Aloysius and 214 (tied for the fourth-highest single game score in team history) against Penn State Behrend. In Friday and Sunday's baker matches, she posted a combined baker average of 14.86...PS-Behrend JR Brianna Lundy averaged a 177.2 in the team match format, while rolling a single-game high of 212 at the Red Flash Invitational.
