PITT-BRADFORD HOLDS EARLY LEAD IN AMCC BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIP

With a total pinfall of 4,635, defending champion Pitt-Bradford sits atop the standings after day one of the AMCC bowling championship at Holiday Bowl in Altoona, PA.  Senior Sarah Foley led the Panthers with a 201 average.

Mount Aloysius College is in second place with 4,478; Medaille College is third with 4,436, and Penn St. Altoona rounds out the field with 4,031.

Saturday's matches were played using the team format, with every team bowling each other twice. Total pinfall for the two-game match determined the win-loss vs. each opponent.

Sunday will be played using the Baker format.
