Gratto had a fantastic start to her college career as she led Pitt-Bradford to a pair of wins in the opening week. For the week, Gratto averaged 24.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 53.6% from the field, 50% from three, and 73.7% from the line. In the win over Thiel, she scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds with three steals. She followed that up with a 28-point, eight-rebound performance in the Panthers' road victory at Keuka.

BEST OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend G Rachel Majewski was named to the All-Tournament Team in the season-opening John Carroll Winking Lizard Tournament this weekend, as she averaged 17.5 points and shot 41.9 percent from the floor, while adding 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, while scoring a team-best 21 points vs. Alma and adding 14 vs. Asbury...PS-Altoona F Avana Sayles had a big week for the Lions, helping her team start out 2-0 this season, as she recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to go along with a game-high eight steals in a road win over Penn College, then putting up a game-high 26 points while adding five rebounds, four steals, two assists, and one block in a win over Penn State Beaver...La Roche G Machia Hairston had a dominant start to the 2023-24 season, helping lead La Roche to a 106-57 win over Franciscan in the Redhawks' lone game of the week, as she had a near 20-20 double-double, scoring 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting, alongside 16 rebounds and three steals, playing 27 minutes....Mount Aloysius G Angelina Kohlwaies had a great college debut with 19 points in each of her first two games, as she shot 57% from three and 5-for-7 from the line, for 19 points to go along with seven rebounds and four assists in a double OT loss to Lycoming before leading the Mounties in scoring again on Saturday with 19 points and five threes, going 6-for-11 from the field on the day.
