Korona has had a very strong start to conference play, averaging 20.5 points per game over her first two games as the Spartans went 1-1. In the team's win over Penn State-Behrend last Wednesday, Korona scored a career high 26 points to go with seven rebounds, five assists and five steals in the team's 59-51 win over the Lions. She followed that performance up by recording her second double-double of the season on Saturday against Mount Aloysius, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Combined in the two games, Korona shot 50% from the field, 41.7% from three and 72.7% from the line. She also averaged 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game.

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche G Sabrina McLin averaged 25 points, seven rebounds and four 3-pointers in a 2-0 week for La Roche, as she scored 20 points and pulled down six boards against Franciscan and had 30 points and eight rebounds in a comeback win over Pitt-Bradford...Pitt-Bradford G Ali Rinfrette averaged 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game, including scoring her 1,000th point, in three games last week...PS-Altoona G Brittany Boslet averaged 17.0 points per game, 4.0 assists per game, and 3.0 rebounds per game, including a season-high 21 points against Pitt-Greensburg...Pitt-Greensburg G Lyndy Baer averaged 9.0 points and 10.5 assists per game, as she broke the school record with 15 assists in a victory over PS-Altoona...Medaille G MarceAnn Dunning continued her strong start of the season in the Mavericks conference opener against Pitt-Greensburg, recording 18 points and going an impressive 8-8 from the free-throw line, all while adding five steals, four total rebounds and a team high two blocks as she led Medaille on a furious comeback that fell just short against the Bobcats...Franciscan G Raegan Stead averaged 16.5 points per game this week including 21 against Penn State Behrend, as she shot 41.7 from the floor and 69.2 from the free throw line and also pulled down seven rebounds between the two games...Mount Aloysius F Antwanye' Parks averaged 12.0 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game, including a season-high 12 boards against D'Youville...PS-Behrend F Katie Chess shot 63.2 percent from the floor, averaging 13.0 points in two games for the Lions, as she led the team in both games, scoring 10 points against D'Youville and 16 in the win over Franciscan.
