La Roche women’s basketball has been on a roll as of late, currently holding a four-game winning streak. Three AMCC victories have made up the last three of the streak and in the wins over Pitt-Bradford, Hilbert and Pitt-Greensburg, the average margin of victory is 52.3 points, winning each game by 46 or more. During the streak, senior Alexis Robison has led the team offensively, averaging 15.5 points per game. Junior guard, Jazmine Dunn, has filled the line score during the stretch, averaging 12.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
Penn State Altoona women’s basketball enters Saturday’s matchup with La Roche carrying a 4-2 record within the AMCC. Junior forward Avana Sayles is the Lions’ top scorer and rebounder, ranking second in the conference in total points (232) and total rebounds (133) while also being third in the league in points per game (15.5) and rebounds per game (8.9). Junior guard/forward Jaidyn McCracken has also been putting up steady points for the Lions, and she ranks fifth in the AMCC in three-pointers made (27) while being seventh in field goals made (70) and assists (39). As a team, Penn State Altoona is second in the AMCC in three-point percentage (31.3), third in three-pointers made per game (6.2), and also third in total field goals made per game (24.9).
