La Roche College enters the AMCC Game of the Week 7-1 in conference play, while Pitt-Bradford is 4-3.
The Pitt-Bradford women's basketball team is in search of a bounce-back win after back-to-back setbacks against Mount Aloysius College (Jan. 5) and at Hilbert College (Jan. 9). Sophomore guard Shaelyn Snipes led the Panthers in scoring at Hilbert with a career-best 26 points while making all six of the team's three-pointers. The performance elevated her scoring average to 15.8 points per game, which is good for fourth best in the conference. Senior forward Jennifer Isenberg nearly averages a double-double with 12.4 points per game and 9.3 boards per game.
The Redhawks have one of the top offenses in the AMCC. They lead the conference in field goal percentage and free throw percentage. Junior forward Jenna Cole scored her 1000th collegiate point (397 at UPG, 615 at LRC) in the Redhawks’ victory on Saturday. Cole leads the AMCC at 19.9 points per game. She also leads the conference in field goals and free throws. Freshman forward Dasja Anderson averages 12.3 points per game and has reached double figures in eleven straight games. Senior guard Dalesza Regan is the Redhawks’ top rebounder at 6.3 per game, while sophomore guard Shaundrea Butler ranks second in the AMCC in steals and assists.
