PITCHER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona SO Madison Peters had a 3-0 week in three pitching appearances for the Lions against AMCC opponents. In game one at La Roche on Wednesday, she pitched a complete game and allowed only three hits and one run while striking out four batters. In game two against the Redhawks, she entered in relief and pitched the final two innings, posting a scoreless performance and recording four strikeouts to earn another win. In game one against Hilbert on Friday at home, Peters pitched a complete game, one-hit shutout with eight strikeouts. On the week, the sophomore right-hander went 3-0 with a 0.50 ERA, pitching 14 innings, allowing four hits, one run, and no walks, and registering 16 strikeouts.
