Clarissa Keller, Penn State Altoona, Player of the Week

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona C/SS Clarissa Keller had another big week at the plate to help Penn State Altoona go 4-0 in AMCC play, recording three multi-hit games along the way. In a doubleheader sweep at La Roche, she combined to go 4-for-8 with a double, a run scored, and three stolen bases. In another doubleheader sweep at Hilbert, Keller batted 7-for-9 with two doubles, a triple, four RBI, six runs scored, and two steals. On the week, she hit .647 (11-for-17) with 10 runs scored, four RBI, three doubles, one triple, and five steals. Keller currently ranks first in the AMCC with a .534 batting average and 13 stolen bases.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend C AJ Nichols hit .481 in a 7-1 week for the Lions, as she drove in 12 runs, scored six and smacked three doubles, while also posting a 2-0 record in the circle...Mount Aloysius OF Leanne Cardoso-Bastos was a spark plug as the Mounties lead off hitter as she reached base safely in 15 of 23 plate appearances, helping the Mounties go 4-2 in AMCC play last week...Pitt-Bradford C Nicole Nolte had an outstanding week at the plate, hitting .483 while driving in six runs, ripping two doubles and also adding her first collegiate home run...Medaille OF Morgan Ziemba hit .471, going 8-17 with three of those hits going for extra bases, while also scoring five runs...D'Youville INF MacKenzie Kehlenbeck hit .429 with six hits, six RBI, three runs, two home runs, one double and one triple...La Roche C Marina Bowser hit .429 (6 for 14) with five RBI, two runs, and a home run...Pitt-Greensburg SS Morgan Russo tallied 11 hits for a .393 batting average with two runs scored and eight RBI, her eighth hit against D'Youville on Saturday made her Pitt-Greensburg's career hit leader with 150...Hilbert OF Anndrea Quiroga had five hits and two RBI, including a double and triple.
