In May 2026, the six-team championship tournament will take place at Rose and Dennis Heindl Memorial Field in DuBois, PA. Heindl Field is the premiere amateur softball facility in North Central Pennsylvania.
The facility is located conveniently off Interstate-80 and offers visitors a plethora of lodging, restaurants and recreation. With the capability to hold 1,250 fans for a single softball event, Heindl Field gives fans a multitude of seating options close to the action. Seating includes a grandstand, bleacher seating, standing room areas and a Luxury VIP Suite Box that can hold 50 people. Field dimensions include 197 feet to left field, 218 feet to center field, and 201 feet to right field.
"The AMCC is excited to partner with the City of Dubois to host our 2026 Softball Tournament Championship," stated AMCC Commissioner Jeromy Yetter. "This commitment will improve the championship experience for our softball student-athletes, coaches, administrators, family, and fans. The facility is first class and the Dubois hospitality will be truly appreciated. We are really looking forward to this May."
The gameday experience is unmatched at any other facility. On top of a scoreboard with digital message board, the facility also boasts a top level atmosphere utilizing music, digital videoboard, and promotion replicating a first-class sports experience similarly in major collegiate or professional sports.
“It’s an honor to welcome the AMCC to Heindl Field for its 2026 softball championship," said Matt Checchio, sports representative for the City of DuBois. "Hosting championships is something our community takes great pride in, and we can’t wait to provide a memorable setting for the conference’s first neutral-site title event. Our goal is to give every player, coach, and fans a championship experience and creating memories that will last well beyond the final out."
The tournament will take place May 6-9, 2026 and will feature the top six teams from AMCC regular season play.
