CSC RECOGNIZES SOFTBALL STUDENT-ATHLETES ON ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAM

Fourteen AMCC softball student-athletes were lauded for their academic accomplishments on Tuesday afternoon, when the College Sports Communicators revealed their NCAA Division III Academic All-District softball teams.
To be eligible for a spot on an Academic All-District softball team, student-athletes must meet certain academic and athletic requirements. Academically, student-athletes must be at least sophomores while holding cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher. Athletically, players must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games, or started two thirds of the games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. Nominators could submit up to five qualified student-athletes per team.
The 14 AMCC softball student-athletes named to the CSC’s NCAA Division III Academic All-District team are:
