AMCC RELEASES SOFTBALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Penn State Behrend senior first baseman Jocelyn McNany has been named the 2025 AMCC Softball Player of the Year. McNany led the conference games in batting average (.565), slugging percentage (.930), runs (21), doubles (9), total bases (53), and was second in hits (32) and RBIs (17). Overall, she was first on the team and in the AMCC in hits (56), runs (19), doubles (19), home runs (6), batting average (.505), and slugging percentage (.910). McNany broke Penn State Behrend's program record for most doubles in a season.

Mount Aloysius College junior Jessica Koptcho has been tabbed as the AMCC Pitcher of the Year. Koptcho led the AMCC in all major pitching categories in conference play. She recorded nine wins, including a 9-0 record with seven complete games in AMCC play. Her 0.83 ERA against conference competition was tops in the league, while ranking 24th nationally in ERA. Her 81 strikeouts in conference play also led the AMCC, along with her 9.61 strikeouts per game average. 

Newcomer of the Year honors goes to Pitt-Greensburg freshman Shelby Cloak. Cloak had a breakout freshman season, batting .370 in conference play and .351 overall. She hit two home runs and drove in 24 runs. She played in all 16 conference games and 30 games overall. Cloak was the lone Bobcat to make an appearance in all AMCC games. She had 94 at-bats on the year with 33 hits. Her 22 runs ranked in the top 20 in the conference. She also recorded a team-high .593 slugging percentage in conference play.

Penn State Altoona head coach Bill Graham and Pitt-Greensburg head coach Chuck Myers have been named AMCC Co-Coaches of the Year. Graham and Myers each led their teams to a 10-6 conference record and a share of the AMCC regular season title. Myers' Bobcats went on to win the program's first AMCC tournament championship.
