Franciscan University freshman Liam Galligan earned his second weekly award as he was named the ECAC South Rookie of the Week, Wednesday afternoon. 

Galligan recorded his second-fastest time of the season and was the top AMCC runner at the Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin College, by five seconds. Galligan crossed the 8K finish line in 26:04.2, coming in 24th place out of 265 racers. 

This season, Galligan has finished first for the Barons in every race he has participated in, including a 15th-place finish at the National Catholic Championship meet and a third-place finish at Westminster in the first race of the year.
