Grover helped power the Lions' offense in a 3-1 week of non-conference play at home. In Tuesday night's win over Chatham, the sophomore setter posted 51 assists -- the sixth-most in a match in team history -- while chipping in three service aces and a pair of kills. During a Friday night loss to Randolph, Mason finished with 34 assists and an ace. On Saturday, in sweeps of Randolph and Gallaudet, he had 38 assists, an ace, and a kill against the WildCats, then followed that with 20 assists versus the Bison. On the week, Mason had 143 assists (10.21 assists per set) while adding 11.5 points on six total blocks, five aces, and three kills.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius OH Andrew Wlodarczyk put together a strong performance in the Mounties 1-0 week, helping his team defeat Hood College in straight sets, he tallied 3.0 kills per set with a .368 hitting percentage, while also carrying the reception load for his team, receiving 19 serves while carrying a .947 reception percentage...Hilbert MB Tyler Hassell brought a strong offensive performance for the Hawks last week notching 18 kills, hitting .273, while also adding four assists, seven aces, 12 digs and five total blocks...PS-Behrend S Caden Mealy recorded his first double-double of the season with 39 assists and a team-best 13 digs to go with four blocks against Chatham on Friday night...Carlow MH Gavin McLain led the Celtics as they faced a tough week of five games over four days, as he averaged 1.80 kills per set.
