Vega was a staple for the Buffalo State defense in his first two weekends as a Bengal. In the SUNY Poly Invite, Vega totaled 35 digs with a .960 combined reception percentage playing in every set. This past weekend at the St. John Fisher Invite, Vega tallied 55 digs across three matchups including a season-high 26 against Wittenberg. Across three contests, Vega registered a .975 reception percentage and averaged nearly seven digs per set against Wittenberg.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius MH Jason Freed helped the Mounties to a 1-1 record in their opening weekend, posting .63 blocks per set across eight sets for the Mounties, he also added in three kills and two digs for the Mounties...PS-Altoona L Adam Chan recorded four digs while successfully receiving all 23 serves he faced in his first collegiate match on Friday night, a 3-0 loss to non-conference opponent Roanoke at home.
