BEST OF THE REST: Hiram OH Tom Supan helped lead Hiram to a 3-0 week as the team opened AMCC play, totaling 33 kills, 37 digs, four service aces with 37.5 points, while also securing two double-doubles for the week, tallying 12 kills and 14 digs against Geneva and 11 kills with 14 digs vs. Saint Vincent...Medaille OH Malachi Jackson had a total of 50 kills earning a 4.17 kills per set average, along with a .202 hitting percentage throughout the week, he recorded a total of 16 kills hitting at .355 percent with two aces, nine digs, and two blocks against Wells and 18 kills hitting a .225 percent with five aces and three digs against PS-Altoona...PS-Altoona OH/RS Philip Silva had a strong showing for the Lions in a 2-1 week of AMCC play, as he totaled 41.0 points (4.1 points per set), 33 kills (3.30 kills per set), a .264 attack percentage, 17 digs (1.70 digs per set), five aces (0.50 aces per set), and four total blocks (0.40 blocks per set)...PS-Behrend DS Adrian Martinez had double-digit digs in three of the four wins for the Lions, as he averaged 4.08 digs per set and a season-high 20 digs in a 3-0 win over Thiel, while also adding seven assists...Thiel FR JC Govannucci recorded 21 kills in six sets (3.50 k/s) last week, as he owned a hitting percentage of .327 for the Tomcats, who went 1-1 during an AMCC tri-match on Sunday...Saint Vincent OH Matthew Minkin totaled 37 kills and 30 digs in three AMCC matches -- after leading SVC with seven kills in Wednesday's loss at Penn State-Altoona, Minkin exploded for a career-high 22 kills in the Bearcats' 3-2 win over Hilbert on Saturday, while also adding 11 digs for the double-double, he then narrowly missed his second double-double of the day in Saturday's nightcap against Hiram, as he led the Bearcats with eight kills and 12 digs.
