Dillon Hildebrand, Penn State Behrend, Men's Volleyball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend OH Dillon Hildebrand averaged 4.27 kills in three matches for the Lions this week, while also breaking two program records. He had double-digit kills in each match, including a career-high 25 vs. Wittenberg on Saturday. Hildebrand also added 19 kills vs. D'Youville and 20 vs. Penn State Altoona. Hildebrand broke the program record for career service aces and kills over the weekend. 

BEST OF THE REST: Hiram MH Tom Supan helped lead the Hiram men's volleyball team to a split against Medaille and D'Youville on Saturday afternoon, as he posted his first two career double-doubles, going for 15 kills/13 digs in a win over the Mavericks, and 21 kills/11 digs against the Spartans, as he became the first player in Terrier history to eclipse the 20-kill mark in one game, setting a program single-match record...Thiel S Stephen Borgen recorded 118 total assists for 9.83 assists per set, while also adding eight blocks (0.67 blocks per set), 12 digs (1.00 dig per set) and five kills (0.42 kills per set)....Wittenberg MH Ashton Sellers played a key role in the Tiger's two road wins this weekend, logging 26 kills on 43 swings, as he closed out the weekend with a .442 hitting percentage after swinging .375 to open up the weekend in a 3-0 win against Thiel and recording a .481 mark in the Tigers five-set win over PSU-Behrend...PS-Altoona OH Brian Sheddy had a great week for the Lions, helping his team go 2-2, as he had 64.5 points (3.6 points per set), 59 kills (3.28 kills per set), 46 digs (2.56 digs per set), four aces (0.22 aces per set), and two blocks (0.11 blocks per set)...Medaille S Matt Dempsey had a historic week for the Mavericks dishing out 90 total assists, earning 10 kills, eight total blocks and digging 26 balls, doing it all for Medaille last week. Against Thiel on Tuesday he became just the second player in program history to earn his 3,000th career assist, totaling 560 coming into this week...Geneva OH Dan Townsend helped lead the way to two AMCC wins on Saturday, as he averaged 2.75 kills per set on a .353 hitting percentage, while also adding 2.63 digs per set along with three blocks and three aces...D'Youville L Ryan Kilijanski had an outstanding week for D'Youville, leading the team to a pair of conference victories, as he led the team to a five-set victory over Behrend with 17 kills, adding six digs, and then tallying eight on Saturday in match one against Geneva.
