BEHREND'S SPRENTZ HITS 2,000 CAREER ASSISTS

Penn State Behrend senior men's volleyball player Anthony Sprentz registered 32 assists over a pair of matches to break 2,000 career assists and help the Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team post a 2-0 record on the day.

In the Lions' first match of the day, Penn State Behrend (2-0) defeated St. Joseph (0-4) 3-0 (25-9, 25-8, 25-12). Sprentz tallied nine assists to put him eight helpers away from reaching the career milestone. In the second match of the day, Behrend (3-0) defeated Cairn (1-3) 3-0 (25-22, 25-10, 25-10). Sprentz tallied his 2,000^th assist on a kill by Dillon Hildebrand to give Behrend a 22-19 lead in the first set.
