15 AMCC STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO UVC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

The AMCC placed 15 men's volleyball student-athletes on the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) All-Academic List for the 2013-14 academic year. The UVC announced its All-Academic List for the 2013-14 academic year and recognized 57 student-athletes from the league's 12 full-time members for their contributions on the court and their excellence in the classroom.

Recipients of this honor must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), a 4.10 (on a 5.00 scale) or an 82 (on a 100 point scale) during the entire 2013-14 academic year. In addition, the student-athlete must display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution.

This marks the first year the UVC has recognized academic achievement. The standard has been set high as the 57 student-athletes combined for a 3.63 gpa.
