Anthony Tumino, Penn State Behrend, Men's Swimming

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend JR Anthony Tumino set six records, while winning three individual events and swimming on four winning relays to help the Lions capture the Fredonia Blue Devil Invite for a second-straight season. Tumino won the 50 free with a new Behrend, pool and AMCC open record time of 20.78. He was first in the 100 free with a new pool and team record of 45.76, while also winning the 200 free (143.74). Tumino swam a leg on the winning 400 free relay, 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay (all first-place finishes).

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona JR Caden Traggiai helped the Lions to a great showing during the three-day Malone Invitational, when they finished fourth overall and second among Division III teams. He took fifth place in the 'A' final of the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 4:49.38, and he also qualified for the 'A' final in the 400 Yard IM, in which he placed eighth with a time of 4:25.85. In the final for the 1,650 Yard Freestyle, Caden came in fifth place by finishing in 16:41.75. The junior was also part of two strong relay performances, helping his groups take third in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 7:17.87 and fifth in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay after finishing in 3:15.72...Pitt-Bradford JR Conan Young won two events and finished second at another, leading the Panthers to a fifth place finish at the Fredonia Invitational over the weekend. Young won the 400-yard IM, 1650-yard freestyle and was second place in the 500-yard freestyle.
