Matt Walker, Alfred State College, Men's Swimming

Walker was a triple individual event winner as the Pioneers picked up two victories over Buffalo State and Fredonia. He won the 200 free in 1:49.52 to set a new NCAA DIII era record. He also won the 200 breaststroke in 2:18.96 and the 200 IM (2:05.25). Walker was also part of the 200 medley relay team that finished 2nd.

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State FR Matt Walker was a triple individual event winner as the Pioneers picked up two victories over Buffalo State and Fredonia. He won the 200 free in 1:49.52 to set a new NCAA DIII era record. He also won the 200 breaststroke in 2:18.96 and the 200 IM (2:05.25). Walker was also part of the 200 medley relay team that finished 2nd.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend FR Thaddeus Johnson led the Lions past Chatham with two individual wins and a relay victory. He finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.27) and 200 breaststroke (2:34.59), while posting the fastest split time in the 200 medley relay (28.25) that took first place.
