Jacob Eshelman, Penn State Behrend, Men's Swimming

Eshelman won two individual events to lead the Behrend Lions past Alfred State 162-117 on Saturday. He touched first in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.84) and 100 freestyle (50.31).

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend FR Jacob Eshelman won two individual events to lead the Behrend Lions past Alfred State 162-117 on Saturday. He touched first in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.84) and 100 freestyle (50.31).

 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State FR Matt Walker swam the 1,000 free in 10:42.19 to earn 3rd place and to set a new standard for the event during the NCAA Division III era for the Pioneers. Walker also won the 400 IM (4:33.25) was also 2nd in the 500 free (5:08.81). He was also part of the 2nd 200 medley relay.
