SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend JR Mark Patterson won the 500 free (4:46.30) and the 200 backstroke (1:53.11) for the Lions this weekend, while placing second in the 200 free (1:43.40). He also swam on three winning relays and took third in another. Patterson helped lead the Lions to a first place finish (out of nine teams) at the Fredonia State Blue Devil Invitational.
BEST OF THE REST: Cabrini FR Cameron Mousley captured wins in all four of his events last week, including the 50, 100 and 500-yard freestyle events against Elizabethtown in 51.94, 1:53.09 and 5:08.55, respectively, and then closing out the week with a 500-yard freestyle win against PSU-Altoona, posting a time of 5:01.61...Pitt-Bradford JR Lucas Cerchiaro helped Pitt-Bradford set school records in seven total events last week, as he had a hand in four of them. The junior shattered the Pitt-Bradford 400-IM school record, finishing second in the finals with a time of 4:15.40 to beat the previous record time of 4:21.11, he was also part of the 400-medley relay team that broke a school record with a time of 7:16.62, finishing fourth in the event. He swam on the school-record breaking 200-medley relay team that timed in at 1:37.49 for second place, and then finished up his career with one final school record, helping the 400-freestyle relay team to a third-place finish with a time of 3:15.73.
